The Spartacus Network

The Spartacus network is a group of disabled and chronically ill people across the country who come together from time to time to research issues relating to disability and social security. The group started from a report, now known as the Spartacus Report, which was researched and written in response to the Coalition government's consultation on the reform of Disability Living Allowance. Since then the Spartacus Network has also worked on areas relating to ESA, social care, the "Bedroom Tax" (under-occupancy penalty) and others.
We are not a formal organisation or body, merely a group of individuals who at times work together to produce objective research. Consequently the Spartacus Network cannot sign up to petitions, campaigns or similar, where an organisation might profess support - please don't ask, as the answer will be no. Individual members of the group do work with other organisations, but Spartacus itself is not a formal group or organisation.
The reports written by the Spartacus Network are the work of the individual authors named therein. They do not necessarily represent the views of every person involved with Spartacus.
